Large scale drug seizure and arrests |

Six people have been arrested on suspicion of drug supply and drug exportation-related offences after approximately 70kg of ketamine, believed to be worth in the region of £1 million pounds, was seized in a major and organised crime operation in Tamworth yesterday.
Officers investigating the alleged exportation and importation of drugs, carried out a number of warrants across Wilnecote, Perry Crofts and Polesworth on Thursday (2 October).
A 49-year-old man, a 38-year-old man, a 34-year-old woman, a 36-year-old man, a 31-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, all of Tamworth, were detained.
Following the warrants, approximately 70kg of ketamine, around half a kilo of cocaine and a quantity of cannabis was seized. The ketamine, a class B drug, has a street value in excess of £1 million.
